Day trip I --- York

York --- a historic walled city, sited at the confluence of the rivers Ouse & Foss in North Yorkshire, England, its almost 2000 year existence.

17/6/2012, Sunday---8 of us follow the day trip that held by our uni, Hallam Union~it's just cost £10. Depart from The Hubs at 8am~after 1hr 15mins, v reach YORK~~

 

Student Ambassador give us York's map & information, v can either discover this city by ourselves or follow the coaches~v must back to the bus at 5.45pm...Yet, v plan to discover this wonderful city by ourselves~~

*Clifford's Tower~v just take picture at outside because it will have entrance fee if v need walk in visit...

 

 

 *afterward, v just simply walk around~~all building & scene damn beautiful~~love it~~

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*shopping in York~~York is filled by little independent shops , particulary art, antique & antiquarian bookshops, restaurants~~all shops are opened at 11am on Sunday~

 

 

*Museum Garden, War Memorial Gardens, Dean's park --- wonderful weather~awesome garden~fantastic scene~i love it sooooooo much~~

*York Minister --- the largest Medieval Gothic cathedral north of the Alps~Normally they charge for the entrance fee (£8), luckily today is Sunday & they have activity in cathedral, hence v able to visit as FOC~nice~~it's damn big & really beautiful~mostly v will see this bulding in the movie that about vampire/ devil ahahahahahhaha~~~

 

 

*City Walls --- stone walls coil around York for 3.5km & are the longest intact medieval town walls in England.

*♥The wheel of York~OMG~~I LOVE IT SO DAMN MUCH~~MARVELOUS~~AWESOME~~i love ferris wheel sooooo much after watch Honey & Clover~hope can capture every ferris wheel in different country~~♥

 

 

 

 

*v can see many different kind of dogs walk around the city with their host~they are soooooooo cute~~~i love this kind of life~jogging with dog~play with dog~shopping with dog~~i must do it when i'm enjoying my retirement life~~

 *beautiful flowers are all around the city~~the weather is nice to plant all this beautiful flowers~

*this special machine can let u make the coin souvenir by ur own~~just put £1 & 1p~~& then rotate the wheel~~but not every time u will make it successfully...luckily it allow us to try & try & try again to make the better 1~it's cool~~~~

 *it's amazing that the 1p can become such souvenir~~

*35p postcard --- as a souvenir that i have been discover YORK~~

**although the weather is cold especially windy~but i love the weather, i love the air, i love the garden, i love the building, i love the ferris wheel, i love the environment, i love their living style, i think i fall in love with York~~

**luckily i invest in a good sport shoes~v have walked in whole York city for whole day~
